| Lyrics: Can't you hear me screaming, once again? Voices you can't hear Because you are consumed and incontent With everlasting greed
Don't you see me on my hands and knees? Begging and bleeding You're smiling as you bite the hand that feeds But will you never see?
Always wanting what your eyes can't see needing what your arms can't reach Thinking you are in need Always hearing what your ears can't hear feeling what your hands can't touch Thinking you're incomplete
(Enough) It was, Never enough that I gave to you All of the horror that you've put me through (Never enough) How can I make up my mind this time? This is where I will draw the line
Sacrificed my life to be with you Why did you leave me? There's nothing more from me you can consume Cause you are incomplete
Everlasting need Would you please? Answer me and Make me complete
Everlasting greed Would you please? Set me free Fulfill all my needs and make complete
(Enough) It was, Never enough that I gave to you All of the horror that you've put me through (Never enough) How can I make up my mind this time? This is where I will draw the line
Never again will I be with you No promise eternal carrying us through I finally made up my mind this time This is the end, I've drawn the line Never enough to devour your greed-------------- This is the only Epica song that i really DISLIKE.It just doesn't sound very "Epica"(or maybe just because it's a single, and more commercial than the other stuff...).But I do like the lyrics, but somewhow they don't fit with the TDC concept(I thought TDC was a concept album but I might be wrong). What I do like about it?Simone's long not on "greed" at the end.Proof that she has a very colourful and versatile voice .Don't ask me about the video because I don't like that one eighter EDIT:Nevermind,I've always looked just at the concept of the video. This song actually might have a diffrent meaning that actually fits the TDC concept | |

| I can't say I don't like it. Of course it's not a typical Epica song, but it has its power, it's still heavy and I really find myself in the lyrics. Simone sounds so powerful, and you just have to love this "greed" at the end. | |

| I like it, it has power, although I cannot say that I couldn't "live" without it. However, the end of the song is magical!!! | |

| First Epica song I heard. I really like it and it's catchy...but it sounds kind of weak after listening to monsters like The Divine Conspiracy, Kingdom of Heaven, and other extremely heavy stuff. | |
