Okay,tell us which is your favorite Epica song and why is it so special for you!

Well it really depends on my mood usually,but if I have to choose 1 all time favorite it will probably be :Chasing The Dragon.I just love everything about it.It starts with such a beautifulm,acoustic tempo and Simone's vocals are so sweet and angelic And the lyrics are always caklming me down,that's why I'm listening to it when I'm stressed.I also love the blastbeat part towards the end,it's amazing.If I have to choose some other faves I would say Cry For The Moon,The Phantom Agony,Mother Of Light(for the chorus ),Facde Of Reality,and many more

There is no such thing as bad Epica song so this is very hard.
It changes daily actually.
At the moment my favourite song would be Menace of Vanity, it's really extreme and powerful song, love it specially live, Simone does one of her highest notes.

My all time fav song is Consign to Oblivion. This song has everything what Epica is, operatic Simone, grunts, choir and it's a very complex song. Plus, I just love the lyrics and its meaning of course. What I also love about Consign to Oblivion is that it has a quite dark atmophere but generally it calms me down and it's very enjoyable to me. I'm glad they play it as a last song most of the time.

Illusive Consensus, particularly as it is performed on We Will Take You With Us, is my favorite. The vocals are soaring and the song just has a special meaning to me.

Cry for the moon, the lyrics apear to me in a way of telling the truth and I like the truth to be told in music. You know it takes a lot of balls to say something 'bad' about the church. Because of that I fell in love with their music so this one is the song I listen to the most.

My favorite song...hm...Before they released a new album, my favorite was Illusive consensus. But now I think I'll choose Our Destiny. It's a really hard song, I think, but it leaves a hope in the end.

The piano version of Feint and Tides of Time are my ultimate favorites. It's difficult not to cry while listening to them. Such emotional songs.
