Why we love Mark:
-He is a genoius composer,he composed both metal and classical music songs
-He is such a great lyricist,The Embrace That Smothers songs really blow me away
-He is in my opinion the best grunter(well I preffer his screams but )ever,and I hate when people say he destroys the songs with his grunts.Without him,Epica wouldn't exist so,they shall shut up!
-He is hot,and funny aswell

Mr. Jansen rules, not my fave grunter imo but he is a very close second. His compositions rule thats one of the reasons Epica is the best!!!! and his grunts do not ruin their music there is a reason for the growls to make it more heavy thats why I have decided I don't like much bands without a grunter now my favorite of that is Markize but I think he rocks!!!!

Ohh where to start with my fangirl love.. Ok, let's start with the most important, Mark is an extremely talented musician, writer and guitarist. Each note he writes is perfect; and he perfectly finds himself both in metal and classical arrangements. He's actually my fav grunter and I don't care if somebody says there are better, yes, maybe they are, but Mark's still my fav. And I love some contrast... his voice sounds kind of sweet to me when he speaks and then you get those grunts... ohh What's more, he's very intelligent, the lyrics show it all; and at the same time he's funny and have great sense of humor. And yeah, he is handsome and hot for my taste. He made me to love the guys with long hair again.

Mark has studied psychology so very intelligent indeed haha..
He is the greatest composer living, dont know if the greatest composer of all time but he is the next to some of the classical composers.

He's a truly AMAZING lyricist,i find so much passion in his lyrics...He's also an EXTRAORDINARY composer,all of the songs he writes just blow me away,they are so complexed,and completely go with the lyrics,every single word fits to it's note perfectly.He made a combination of progressive,symphonic,death,black,power and even gothic metal and made....a perfect EPICA.I don't look at them as a band,i look at them as...simply ART.
And Mark is it's creator.
What more can i say?

Guess what. I just can't write more? You said pretty much everything what was in my mind exactly. Ok, I'm a male and can't say anything about the last one, though
I was very surprised when I actually managed to find out, that Mark is ALWAYS so positive and great to his fans. To me, he is ultimately the top nr1 idol in the world. The mastermind. Really I just feel so bad, because I can't even write it as words how much I admire him. I'm 200% straight, but I feel that I could almost kiss him because of his awesomeness
