| Hmm it is starting to get really heavy, maybe a bit to much, oh well I will bare with it. But the acoustic sounding part where simone sings is really cool. | |

| Lyrics:
Speaking in degradation A conversation can take a sudden turn And reaching the point of violence Because your silence left you without a hand to hold
Your past will lead you on to make...
Making a final judgement Based on your bias will never bring you forward Terror should never guide you For even the fearful can take a beating in the end
Suspicion gets you nowhere
Those who denounce a way of life Will stand alone Left to atone their social blunders If you gun down the messenger You guarantee that he will be made Into a saint The martyr of the free world
I will say what I think I will do what I say When liberty seems out of reach We'll fight for our freedom of speech
Requiem aeternam dona eis, Domine, et lux perpetua luceat eis
Missing a simple context A mental weakness can throw you out of balance Listen, respect each other Then you'll discover it mustn't always end in hate
It's not too late for mercy
I will say what I think I will do what I say When tolerance seems out of sight We will fight When liberty seems out of reach We'll fight for our freedom of speech
Definately one of my favs. It's great it's so heavy, and the Gregorian chants, as well as the kind of acoustic part, bring nice diversity to the song. Truly love it! | |

| Simone uses different kind of technique here yes, i love the fact she uses her versatile skills on the album, i know there are many fans who would like her to sing only opera all the time like Tarja but that would be just boring. One of my favourites, it took some time opening up but now i know what it's all about Love the ending specially, some heavy drumming up there.. | |

| This song's title was the first one that hooked me when I first read the tracklist. Then,I had that weird dream I was actually listening to it when I was not(and in my dream it sounded way different),then I have loved the gregorian chants from te teaser, and the acoustic part on the 3rd teaser(if I remember correctly) sounded so mysterious fro me,and I even thought that was from my beloved MOTFW .Then I heared the snippet which at first dissapointed me,but after a few more listens, plus listening to the full track it finally became my 2nd favorite song from DYU(Firstly I expected to be my fave, but nothing beats KoH for me *_*) Lyrically it's really awesome, concrete and well aranged lyrics.Vocally it's really interesting,Simone experimented a lot with her low notes, which I love them.Musically,it's a true masterpiece. The main riff it's so heavy,death/trash metal-ish but the orchestration behind it make it very memorable. Then it cools off with the acoustic part, trhen t falls back in the riff with the grunts, slows with the choir, then it comes the very 'sharpy' and original guitar solo, and ends back with the chrous and grunts. The most experimental song in my opinion,a worth headbanger on the live shows | |
