This is one of the most beautiful songs ever! Makes me cry and heals at the same time. I can't describe how much I love it and how much I find myself in the lyrics, just can't...

In general ballads are are my least favorite songs from a certain album,but this doesn't go with 'Tides of Time'.It was one of the first song I have heared from DYU,it was the live version from Groningen.Since then I was really excioted to hear the studio version(and honestly it isn't a big difference .Simone sounds almost perfect)
So yeah,this is actually my favorite ballad ever.The piano sounds so beautiful as always.But what makes me love this song so much is Simone's vocals.It beggins so sweet and emotional and it slowly changes to her powerful classical type.At the part And now I feel there's no one losing more she hits some very high chest voice notes,which made me really impressed.
The lyrics are so beutiful and sweet but they became more real after I lost my cat.I can relate to every word...

I'm sorry, but I don't want to sound cheesy, but "Seasons change but you remained the same..."
It seriously has made me cry of happiness. Tides Of Time made me realize how fortunate I am for having someone who loves and accepts me how I am. And for me and my couple fits perfectly because we're still together, we've had problems, but we still love each other a lot.

I agree with you Cris, Simone sings perfectly and her classic style has improved, especially in the part "Seeds of eulogy", it's amazing.

"Tides of Time" is among Epica's best ballads. This song is so touchy and beautiful... I feel awful when I'm unable to associate myself with such wonderful songs. Anyway, I do like it very much and it moves me, even though I don't feel that certain connection between myself and its lyrics like you do. Besides that, Simone's vocals on this one are amazing. It can be clearly heard that her singing technique has improved a lot.

At the beginning I didn't like this song at all, but now I love it.

By Tides Of Time i've been able to get new fans to Epica easily. It's just song from another dimension.

It's my favourite ballads ever. So moving, beautiful and full of magic. But I think it isn't their best lyrics, although it's not really bad. It's nice, but not as good as for example Resign to Surrender or Sensorium.
