Amaranthe

Amaranthe is a new, promising, Swedish, modern melodic metal band. They have already signed up with Universal/Spinefarm records for their debut album, as the first debut band of their genre in at least ten years.
Amaranthe has done some support shows for Kamelot, and who knows? Maybe they'll do it again?
And their vocalist Elize joined Kamelot for their European tour, as backing vocals, and she has done an amazing job.

Amaranthe consists of the very talented, female vocalist Elize, the clean, male vocal Jake (Dreamland), Andy, with his powerful screams, the multi-talented Olof (Dragonland, Nightrage) on keys and guitar, the danish drumming monster Morten, and Johan on the bass.

Amaranthe is my favourite band after Epica & Kamelot! They're absolutely amazing, I'll do everything to see them live as much as possible.

I know! Yay! I've been talking to Olof a lot lately, he was starting to get reeeeaaaally isolated down there, so I think it is healthy for him to get back to sivilisation! Imagine seeing the same five people for 61 days, it's insane xD But I'm REALLY looking forward to hear the album!! Maybe I'll hear some before the release date, ahha (a)

Hahaha awh, poor Olof! I promised to bring him some oliebollen as soon as they come to Holland, Belgium or Western Germany. (: They're coming to the MFVF next year, but that's like... freaking October 2011. xD

The album, which will classically carry the same name as the band, will be out on April 14th though Universal/Spinefarm! I can't wait, Olof says it's gonna be amazing, and I sincerely believe him.

I was lucky enough to hear the finished Hunger on finnish radio last week, it's freaking amazing. The drums, guitars, everything oh god, it's totally totally sick

Oh, I have been at their concert when they're supporting Kamelot. They're quite nice, Elize is so nice, warm and friendly person, her behaviour impressed me much After their show I was listening them for sometime but I was sick of them in a few days. I like the mos Call out my name and 100000 lightyears.
