I don't listen much to those, but they're obviously great demos.

My name is Steve, and I have been an Epica fan for about three years now - I wish I had been introduced to them earlier, but in the US, not so much Epica, especially in the early days. I saw them in Salt Lake City in November - I met the band - they signed posters for me, and I had a picture take with the band, my wife and daughter. Needless to say, the concert was fantastic.
So, I have been collecting all things Epica for a while now, and I would like to pose a question to anyone in the forum who wishes to answer.
I have just been approached to purchase a copy of one of the original Promo CDs - it is being described as disc 125 (of 200). My only problem is I do not know if the disc is real or a copy.
Does anyone here have a copy that I can compare the item I'm being offered? The disc that is being offered is a blank (no picture) CDR - this is entirely possible for a promotional type of disc, however, I know that it was distributed by Transmission Records, so it probably should have a distinguishing mark.
On the positive side, the disc has a gem-case with the proper markings, as well as the proper sleeve. Also, there is an accompanying letter that is signed by Eric Gijsen (Manager Sahara Dust). I think the case, sleeve and letter are original and legitimate. However, I am concerned about the CD.
Do any of you have the original Sahara Dust CD? Is the CD blank, or is there any markings on the disc itself?
Many thanks in advance for any assistance that you might be able to offer!
