This one still needs to grow more on me.I mean,I already loved it since I first heared the lyrics and the ONLY guiatar solo I've heread in Epica(not that I'm asking for more but this one rocks out loud ).Simone's vocals are brilliant aswell as the choir

I loved this song a lot when I first heard it, I still do, but there obviously are better on TDC. What stands out for me in this song are definately the lyrics, Simone's voice and the choir. I also love the part between the second chorus and the Thirteen moon part. The solo rocks, but I'm not asking for more too as Cris.

This is my favorite Epica song the lyrics are amazing and so are the vocals and the solo

I love how Mark explained the 13 moons thing. It's all clear to me now!

So I take part of the movement to get the 13 moon calendar back. It is simply rght with the real cycles of nature and that's what a month (= literally a moon) is supposed to be.

The reason why we make use of 12 months instead of 13 has a christian background. 13 is an unlucky number in Christianity. The reason of that is because Jesus was having his Last Supper together with 12 apostles (12 + 1: 13). So 13 needed to be avoided in order to get rid of more bad luck.

Sometimes fairy tales can change everything and it is very hard to change it back to how it has to be.
By the way 13 is a great number

Hehe,I knew that already . The latest '13th moon'(full moon) was on 1st of january this year,and I had seen and it was one of the most beautiful and biggest moons I had ever seen
But I like Mark's explanation better than,let's say,what I've searched in books .

i like the intro of this song so much, that made the song one of my favourites very nice first 10 seconds makes me listen to the whole song..very emotionally powerfull
