Favorite ballad

Just vote and tell which is your fave ballad!

My personal favorite is Feint.I just love everything about it.It's so sad and beautiful I also love Solitary Ground because it totally empowers me and Higher High because it's just so simple and Simone sounds very angelic there .But I really love them all

Oh and I didn't add the two semi-ballads Run For A Fall and Chasing The Dragon,because they have a different song construction

Oh I do really love them all for different reasons, but I will vote for Solitary Ground as it's the most personal one to me.

And I perfer the 'rocky' version of Veniality, hardly ever listen to the orchestral one.

There are too versions? I only know one so far...

Back on topic.Has anyone figured out what is Linger about?I haven't yet

Feint is far and away the most haunting and compelling ballad, in my opinion.

Memory is a lovely take on the original, but I don't really consider it an Epica song.

All of the others are beautiful to me as well. I can relate a bit to Solitary Ground and Linger, so those two stand out.

Although my most favourite ballad is Trois Vierges, I vote for Linger because it always reminds me of a certain person, in a certain period of my life.

I voted for Tides Of Time aswell,it's just heartbreaking

So changed my vote to Tides of Time. It's truly one of the most beautiful pieces of music I've ever heard! So emotional, and it's beginning to be very dear and meaningful to me. The part with "Sometimes I feel..." is just amazing, so powerful.
