Favorite long legth (Epic) song

Everything that's over 6 minutes (except Mother Of Light but that's almost 6 so why not?)I made multiple choices so you can choose up to 3 songs

I choosed my top 3 all-time favorite songs by Epica;Chasing The Dragon,Cry For The Moon and The Phantom Agony Almost obviously the long songs are the most of my favs I also love Facade Of Reality,Mother Of Light,Run For A Fall,Death Of A Dream,Fools Of Damnation,Consign To Oblivion..in fact all of them

oh thats too hard erm... The Phantom Agony, The Obsessive Devotion and Chasing the Dragon all three are absolutely epic

Well mine are Consign to Oblivion, Chasing the Dragon and Fools of Damnation!

I chose Death Of A Dream.

It is, I think, is very complex both musically and lyrically. It also features stunning vocals by Simone, who has really learned to utilize her upper register. The song is so powerful and enslaving.

All of the songs listed are incredible, though. For what it is worth, I had a really hard time deciding on a favorite!

I choose Consign to Oblivion, Chasing the Dragon and Facade of Reality. That's my all time top 3 as well. But I love all those long length songs. It's the epic side of Epica which I love the most.

The Obsessive Devotion - i find this song...amazing,somehow showing the darker side of love,i simply admire it.

Chasing The Dragon is also so epic and fantastic.

Kingdom of Heaven is definately one of my favs! But I still don't know if I want to put it before or after CtO.

A PERFECT song.
Still,i'm very confused about voting.As i said above,The Obsessive Devotion has a lot of meaning to me.It actualy has more meaning than any other Epica song.
But i also see CtO reaches the top of any artistic possibilities.Kingdom of Heaven also.
Run For A Fall is also very meaningfull and deep.

I simply had to switch to Our Destiny. The song gives me chills every time I listen to it!

Simone has improved so much as a vocalist, and the band members have all reached new levels as well. Even though I adored Ad, the changes in line-up have benefited the band, I think.

where's Tides Of Time btw?

Well Tides of Time is under 6 minutes long.The on;y exception I made was 'Mother of Light' but if I remeber the legth of the song correctly that one is longer that ToT.Plus I donrt really conssider 'Tides of Time' to be an Epic.To me Epic means something 'majestic' full of everything(in musical terms,the best elements that band has(in Epica's case the choir,some crazy guitar and bas riffs,some heavy drums and all the other stuff.Tides of Time on the other hand it's a ballad and doesnt have all these elements.But that doesnt mean I don't conssider it a masterpiece.For me it is the 2nd most emotional Epica song(after Chasing the Dragon).So it's one of my favorite Epica songs.But still I don't particuallry conssider it an 'Epic' but taht is just my ransom opinion.If the other mebers conssider that ToT desrves a place in the poll I will add it

I voted for Facade of Reality-because of this song I fell in love with Epica But it's very hard for me to choose what is my fav long song...I love all of them

^Uhm I think your signature it's a bit too big.You should eighter remove the An Epic Journey banner or the Epica logo because it takes too much space.Thank you

^ Cris, I don't think it takes much more space than our signatures with all the stuff. But yeah the Epica logo itself is quite big.

Uhm yeah,Maybe it's within the signature limit,but I think if you would resize or remove the logo it will look better.Just my two cents
