Saw the vid!! Oh My Gosh,it's amazing,it's my fave Epica video by far,I totally love the story behind it although I didn't understand it complete.Mark looks so hot in it

I love the video so much!! I like the story, though need to wait for the lyrics as well to read it better. Can't wait for it as I feel I will find myself perfectly in the meaning of it.
And Simone looks so beautiful, cool thing with this eye colour change. And all play really nice as the kinda 'ghosts' characters. The part with just band playing is amazing as well. Mark
Aaaaah I'm in heaven with Cris! And Unleashed sounds fantastic. It's catchy but truly epic to me! The choir parts, amazing! And it's so heavy. Love it love it love it !!!

I just heard that on the German version of the album there will be included duet version of Unleashed with Amanda

That would be amazing.But Amanda and Sim have pretty similar voices,but I think they will blend great together

I didn't like the video. Please don't kill me xD Though Simone and others are really great and cool there, especially the trick with Simone's eyes was just perfect *_*
But it just doesn't go with lyrics. Sure, many videos of others bands have also another storyline as in the song, but...
"Unleashed" has such a desperate lyrics, in my opinion, so deep, so wise, but video is so scary, I just can't see, how can it go together..

And about the duet version. I don't like Amanda's voice xD Though her voice is powerful, I think there is no atmosphere and passion in it. Sorry =(

It's understandable ,I'm not really into Epica's videos,and I do not think that the lyrics go that well with the video eighter.But I think it's more professional than the others

I fully agree with you =) If you'll compare the "Unleashed" video and "Never Enough" or "Solitary Ground", "Unleashed" would be the best, that's for sure =)

I can see some common points for the video and lyrics, but that's probably just me. It's definately their best and most professional one, I guess it's also the music video I have watched the most times in my life so far.

Sure, at least I can say in the general way cause personally it would be too complicated. The biggest common point is obviously death. For the person in lyrics death is the only way to become free and complete, the person feels kind of trapped and miserable here and now on earth, and doesn't seem to find a way to break the fate (it's impossible obviously). The same in the video, death is this man's fate. But differently from the person in lyrics, he doesn't want to accept it and leave his life. But the fate's demons start to haunt him and that becomes more miserable for him, so he needs to accept the death if he wants to feel free.
But that's just my point of view. And I know for some people it wouldn't make any sense. As always.
