The greatest Epica song? Might be! It's almost 14 minutes long but I definately do not feel it, it passes very fast to me. This means it's really interesting. The structure is so complex and diverse. And every note seems to have its perfect place. Everything just fits in its place so well. The atmosphere is amazing, so gripping. Grunts, screams, Simone's vocals, choir... well, simply perfect to me. As well as one of the best Mark's lyrics. So much things happening in this song, you've got to enjoy it. And I just love the spoken part very much.

I just don't have enough words to explain my love for this song.I actually didn't care much for it when I read the tracklist,I thought it was another anti-religious song (and don't get me wrong i love the songs from TETS series but I just didn't wanted one on DYU) .but when I heared the preview of the song from amazon.com I felt it so....I can't explain I just knew it was going to be my favorite.
Than,in the night when I first listened to DYU,before the ending of 'Our Destiny' I started to cry uncontrolable because the moment has COME.I was left jawdop,it was too much epicness for me,such a complex song,variated,heavy,melodic combined in such a perfect way.
Lyrically it's also one of my favorites.I was never interested so much in science but this song totally got me into it.Proof that Mark is just a genius.
My favorite part is probably Children Of The Light,it gives me goosebumps when Simone sings the high notes.I also have to agree with its lyrics a lot without light we are nothing in the universe.
I love how fast it switches to the acoustic tempo nearly the end,it's so peaceful,it makes you feel like in Heaven(obviously).When Simone starts to sing it simply makes me cry.Then comes the speaking part,which I disagree with the reviewer that said it's a cliche.It's not it fits well with the song,and Arien's acting is fabulos.Then comes the guitar solo which IMO it's the highlight of the song.Isaac has done an amazing work with it.Then the chrous comes again and ends in a very epic way.

anti-religious ? im confused

Well,you know,some of the Epica songs have a theme agianst the abuse of the organized religion(such as christianity and islam).The suite's name is 'The Embrace That Smothers' which contains songs like 'Cry For The Moon','Facade Of Reality','Seif Al Din','Death Of A Dream',Fools Of Damnation' etc.I tink I shall create a special ythread for it becauke KoH has nothing to do with these songs

Sorry for DP but today I found the meaning of 'sahasrara' in a philosophy book

From what I read on it sahasrara is the most important of the seven energetic fields(or chakra) of human soul,body and consciousness.

Sahasrara means in the hindu tradition the awake from ilusion,discovering the truth,It also somehow related to the songs's lyrics mainly 'We;'e not alone,we are all one'.And hje line 'Open your sahasrara' means to open your mind,to think big, to go away from the lies and to realize that the truth is only one.

Well,that's mostly my interpreatation because the book give it a very subtle explenation.If my rambling doesn't make any sense,then read it on wikipedia :

Well it's called 'Codul lui Oreste'(Oreste's Code in romanian).It's written by a new author and show producer from my country,named Oreste Teodorescu.His book shows up philosophical concepts,but also sides of human's mind,spiritualism and many other interesting stuff,including religiuos and mytholog stuff as well Yes,many things that can be found on Epica's lyrics that's why I bought it

This book is very new,I think it was released less than a month ago,so I doubt there's an english version.

This is very usefull information I will search for that book if it's translated in Bulgarian or in English
