I don't think Simone will be singing in the project. Then it would be so Epica.. I also heard that there was going to be an Italian singer, a 'new talent':

@ @EricUgaldeO the 20th of May is the release of the album. At this moment a german singer is singing his parts ;-)

Henning Basse (Sons of Seasons), maybe? They're touring together, so that would make sence.

Although I love Simone with all of my heart,I'm quite dissapointed she will be on the album.Don't get me wrong,it's nice to hear her again before a new Epica release,but I wanted MaYan to be very different from Epica.And I know it will from the studio videos.It's just I hope Simone won't take any leads right there

However,I'm glad that Floor is involved.It's the first album since AF's Decipher since her and Mark had on the same album.

This is just the second Epica, haha...

Have you heard the samples? There's NOTHING Epica about that. And Mark has said countless times this is very different from the stuff he has done with Epica. And why not to use SiSi, she happens to be one of the best female singers on the scene
I'm sure she wont be in big part on the album, as Mark said on official forum, 75% grunts, 25% clean vocals.

Yeah, but it's still almost all the same people as Epica.. I was really looking forward to hear Mark work with someone else. But of course, the more Simone the better.

As much as I love Simone too, I don't like the fact she's singing on the MaYaN album.
There'll be too much of Epica in it. So many members, I mean...
