I don't like this Chris... I just can't. Maybe when I hear the whole song.. Still Sharon sounds amazing, and Im gonna love the lyrics, as I already said.

It's acoustic, that's why....different arrangement and btw country is different.

I just watched the video now.Not my favorite but is pretty good,although the stong has slightly began to bore me...

i miss the old WT i do like Utopia,but that's not WT.

They changed so much...(now please don't tell me that a band can't make same songs all their life bla bla...that's true,but...for example,Enter and Mother Earth are so much different,and they are both good and in the style of WT.I don't find Utopia as their musical style.)

I completely agree with you.I do like Utopia but mainly because of the lyrics and Sharon's voice.but I won't like this song on an usual WT album(unless it's an acoustic one like AANATT),it's kind of commercial but that's just me.
Enter and The Dance were in the doom/gothic metal scene,then Mother Earth was folk-rock(with exceptions of Caged,The Promise,Deceiver Of Fools,and Mother Earth that still have some metal influences),The Silent Force was sympho-rock,and THOE was the same as TSF but with slight of gothic influences.Honestly I don't mind changing with each album,but sadly the stuff becomes more commercial with each album.I stil somehow like THOE more than TSF because it has more heavier guitars,but still none of them can top Enter,TD or ME IMHO.But I still love them all because I can relate to the lyrics plus Sharon is my favorite vocalist of all the time.

Sharon said in a last year interview that the next WT album will be more 'organic' that meaning less orchestra and a heavier sound.I really have high hopes with this album,and I think it will be better than THOE.

Still,that doesn't make me love WT any less.I'm still enjoying their music,and I don't think that is going to change.I can love both mainstream and heavy music,because music it''s justmusic xD(except rap,but i''m not going further)

They made Utopica to promote the new acoustic album. It isn't a matter of liking it or not.

They aren't changing into the genre of music, they made it for promotion.

I LOVE Utopia, and I don't give a shit about people who don't. It's personal taste.

People don't get the idea of playing acoustic, you can't play metal on acoustic guitars so they make a different arrangement which is suposed not to sound metal. Some people just don't get that part.

Exactly. You can't go around promoting an acoustic album with a song like The Dance can you?

That is what I meant.Utopia is great for an acoustic album and that's it ,You can't put a song like 'Enter' or even 'The Howling' on an aciuoustic album

The song is extremely commercial (i didn't say it's not good xD) and so different from their older works.
I said i miss the old WT.And i do.
Utopia is actualy one of the best songs they have made since TSF
Considering the fact it's wroten for an acoustic album.

And now we may get a new WT,more rockish and commercial,with catchy songs...another Sharon without her fairy dresses and crazy make-up,just dressed up in leather pants and a simple shirt,singing more poppish than operatic,using her low register more...
And there is surely a lot people who will like it.
But what about the WT we know?
Sharon's high notes,she sang perfectly...her amazing dresses and costumes she is known for...songs full of those epic,dramatic feelings,that made them so unique...

Don't know about you,but i will surely miss that WT.

Maybe they will not go in that direction.Each album has its own style and we will have to wait and see

WT was like that 7 years ago. The whole band was in their 20s experimenting musical styles.

Mother Earth was their second studio album! It was different to Enter and I highly doubt they'll get back to whatever the style was back then.

I hate people complaining on and on wanting them to go back.

The Heart Of Everything is their best-selling album to date, and with reviews like that I think they'll carry on with the sound like that.
