OI did,and I disn't like it at the beginning but now I love it to death,I feel that is going to be one of my all time favorites.What is so experimental about it is that it has so many different tempos.I love that riff it completely stuck in my mind.Arien is simply THE BEAST .I guess my fave part is the one when Simone sings"A Martyr of the free word" and it fall instantly into grunts.I also love the gregorian choir aswell,in fact I actually heared 2 words that sound like romanian to me

That is funny thing about Epica, i disliked it too a bit at the first listen but now love it bits
They're all so talented, i love the music being so technical now

ok listening to the new album now , so far it sounds like CTO only way heavier and with ripping guitar solos, so far im loving it, Sisi's voice sounds so much stronger then ever before



ok so losing ad was the best thing that ever happend to epica , this new guy is freaking amazing i never thought id hear dynamic guitar parts from epica

Yes I agree that it sounds a bit like CTO(the choirs aspecially remind me of it) but it's way heavier in vein of TDC,and in some song the atmosphere reminds me a bit of TPA(Burn To A Cinder,and even Kingdom Of Heaven a bit).That's why it happend to be my new favorite it's so complex it has all the Epica has done plus the cherry on the top:guitar solos

The guitars on KOH are extremely complicated, Isaac is gift from heaven, just like Ariën.
I did like Ad, and Jeroen a bit, but these guys helped rising Epica to new level.
The new album is the best thing ever, the guys can be proud!

I honestly can't listen to anything else.It's a masterpiece,and I knew it was gonna be my fave album of all the time since I saw the cover and the tracklisting (actually since I had the weird cover dream a few months ago)

Yeah, i was sure it would rock the world too
